Berkeley, CA 94704If any order cannot be filled from the store’s considerable inventory, a priority book order will be placed immediately with the appropriate publisher from UPB’s Scholarly / Academic Publisher List.
We are flexible as to invoice format, packaging, payment terms, or any other reasonable requirements. (For instance, we can insert order slips into books.)
Approval Plan
Academic, research, and specialty libraries, large and small, requiring most new books in designated subject areas (see Subject Catagories) published by any of our scholarly and academic presses, may participate in our Approval Plan. We make weekly shipments of books received meeting the criteria set by the library. Unwanted books may be returned for full credit within a reasonable period.
RUSH Service
All RUSH orders are handled with the greatest dispatch. We provide same day shipping for books in our inventory, same day ordering for thoses that are not, and same day shipping on receipt of books ordered. We ship RUSH orders via the library’s preferred carrier (U.S. Postal Service; or Fed/Ex Ground), at cost.
