On Becoming a Friend of UPB
Our bookstore needs a community of readers and supporters to keep going and improving. If you value and enjoy what UPB is for scholars, authors, and publishers, we would enjoy having you as a Friend of UPB.
The Friends of UPB was formed in 2009 to help sustain our primary mission of offering a wide and deep inventory of books from scholarly(mostly nonprofit) publishers for browsing and purchase, both in our store and online.
Now this program is administered by the 2430 Arts Alliance, a nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to encourage and promote scholarly and literary publications, classical music, and other arts in Berkeley. The 2430 Arts Alliance now sposors many literary events at UPB.
Contributions to the 2430 Arts Alliance are tax deductible and if indicated as to the Friends of UPB will be entirely used to help sustain the bookstore and its programs. To contribute, please click the donate button below:
